A participatory camping safari staying in small private mobile camps is
one of the best ways to experience Kenya's natural attractions. This camping safari has been designed to include a variety of habitats so that the widest diversity of wildlife can be seen. The camps are sited in private conservancies so that walking and night drives may be taken but are also conveniently located for easy access to Amboseli and Nakuru national parks and the Masai Mara.

Day 1 - Nairobi
Arrive and transfer to Holiday Inn. Accommodation on bed and breakfast basis.
Day 2 - Selenkay Conservation Area, Amboseli
Meet and transfer to your safari vehicle to be driven from Nairobi to Selenkay Conservation Area (102 miles, 4 hours), arriving for a late lunch after setting up camp. Evening game drive to explore the Conservancy. Dinner and overnight in the camp at Selenkay.
Day 3 - Selenkay Conservation Area, Amboseli
Early breakfast and then drive through the bush into Amboseli National Park for good views of Kilimanjaro and close-up observation of elephants, as well as many other species. Return to Selenkay after a picnic lunch. Afternoon escorted walk to an authentic Maasai village. Dinner followed by a night drive to seek out the nocturnal animals. Overnight in the camp at Selenkay.
Day 4 - Congreve Conservancy
Morning drive back to Nairobi for lunch and on to Congreve Conservancy (190 miles), arriving in late afternoon. Set up camp and then take an evening walk in the Congreve Conservancy. Dinner and overnight in the camp.
Day 5 - Lake Nakuru National Park
Early morning departure after a continental breakfast for a full day in Lake Nakuru National Park, with a picnic lunch. In addition to the spectacle of the masses of flamingo we expect to see rhino in addition to many other species and have an excellent chance of sighting leopard. Return to camp in the evening for dinner and overnight.
Day 6 - Ol Kinyei Conservancy, Masai Mara
After breakfast, pack up camp and drive to Ol Kinyei Conservancy in the Masai Mara (160 miles) to set up camp. This is a long drive over a rough road and a stop is taken in Narok town for lunch en route. After setting up camp take an evening drive into the Ol Kinyei Conservancy to see some of the wildlife for which the Mara is famous. Return to the camp for dinner and overnight.
Day 7 - Ol Kinyei Conservancy, Masai Mara
An early breakfast followed by a full morning in the Mara Reserve, taking a picnic lunch. Return to the camp for dinner and overnight.
Day 8 - Nairobi
Breakfast, then pack up camp and return to Nairobi (160 miles, 5 hours), arriving about 2 pm. Overnight at Holiday Inn on bed and breakfast basis.
Day 9 - Lake Manyara
Transfer to the airport for flight to Kilimanjaro with lunch in Arusha town at 1230hrs. 1330hrs, drive to Lake Manyara. Enjoy an evening game drive in Lake Manyara National Park whose inhabitants include hippos, monkeys, tree climbing lions, flamingos and other varieties of birdlife. Dinner and overnight at a campsite in Mto wa Mbu.
Day 10 - Serengeti National Park
Depart to Serengeti National Park with picnic lunches. Enjoy an afternoon game drive in the endless plains of the Serengeti for a chance to see the great herds of wildebeest, zebras and gazelles or a pride of lions lounging in the shade. Dinner and overnight under tents in the Serengeti.
Day 11 - Serengeti National Park
Full day of game viewing in the Serengeti National Park. Meals and overnight at the camp in the Serengeti National Park.
Day 12 - Ngorongoro Conservation Area
Drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area via Olduvai Gorge, the site of Louis and Mary Leakey's renowned archaeological discoveries. Their findings include some of the man's earliest known ancestral remains. Picnic lunches will be served at the Gorge. Proceed driving to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Dinner and overnight at Simba campsite.
Day 13 - Ngorongoro Crater
Today you will descend over 600 meters to the floor of the crater for a half day crater tour. Explore the forest areas that are inhabited by monkeys and elephants, the lake area, where you may see the flamingos and the open savannah where the lions hunt for food. Afternoon return to the camp for lunch. After lunch, drive to Karatu for dinner and overnight
under the tent.
Day 14 - Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, depart for Tarangire National Park for an afternoon of game viewing with picnic lunches. Lesser kudu, eland, lion and gerenuk can be found in this beautiful park, noted for its multitude of baobab trees and its tree-climbing lions. Dinner and overnight at the camp.
Day 15 - Arusha
After breakfast return to Arusha. Lunch at a restaurant Fly to JKIA and connect your departure flight.
